With the advantage of soil condition and climate suitable for many kinds of crops, especially industrial crops, the Central Highlands is developing into a large agricultural commodity production area of Vietnam. Therefore, it is considered as a potential market for fertilizer distribution and consumption of the country.

 

Being aware of that, in April 2017, Gemadept Logistics (GLC) expanded its service network in the Central Highlands for Yara customer – one of the leading global fertilizers manufacturer. Accordingly, GLC provided 1,500 sqm of warehouse as a distribution center for Yara's fertilizer products.
 

With this distribution center, imported fertilizer of Yara will be transported from ports in Cai Mep area to here, and then distributed to dealers and direct buyers in this area including: Dak Lak, Gia Lai, Kom Tum and Dak Nong by Gemadept. This distribution center is the kick-off point for the network expansion strategy of Gemadept Logistics covering all provinces in the Central Highlands of Vietnam.
