On the morning of May 08, 2024, in Ho Chi Minh City, CJ Gemadept Logistics, along with over 100 partners and other suppliers of Suntory Pepsico Vietnam, attended the workshop "Sustainable Development Partnerships." This is one of the annual events organized by SPVB to share development vision and cooperation among parties, as well as to honor partners who have made outstanding and effective contributions to SPVB's business activities in the Vietnamese market.

   In the solemn atmosphere of the workshop, CJ Gemadept Logistics - a major partner providing warehouse services for SPVB in the Mekong Delta and Central Vietnam regions - was honored to be awarded the YATTE MINAHARE AWARD - Partner of the Year 2024. The prestigious Yatte Minahare carries the spirit of Suntory group founder - Shinjiro Torii and is also his favorite saying. It means "dream big, take challenges, and never give up". At Suntory PepsiCo, courage is the key to great success, and that the future belongs to those that dream big. Accompanying SPVB in the journey of business development in the Vietnamese market for the past 5 years, CJ Gemadept Logistics deeply understands and brings the spirit of "Yatte Minahare" into our operation in the Mekong Delta and Central Vietnam.    Becoming the logistics solution provider for Suntory PepsiCo - the number one beverage brand in Vietnam, has been and will always be a journey of pride for CJ Gemadept Logistics. This spirit is manifested through a series of improvement projects, digitalization of processes, and increased operational productivity from 2019 to the present. With the pioneering TES&C platform, modern information technology systems, and dedicated personnel, CJGMD has made a series of breakthrough contributions to SPVB's logistics operations, especially in the past year of 2023:
- Implementing a new system integration method that increases data exchange speed by 5 times between the 02 systems of SPVB and CJGMD. This opens up opportunities to reduce labor costs and increase productivity for operations;
- Successfully deploying the QR Code system for 02 SPVB raw material warehouses in the Mekong Delta and Central Vietnam;
- Golive of the Vehicle Checklist Mobile application on mobile devices, digitizing the process of checking vehicles in and out of warehouses, directly connecting the quality control of incoming and outgoing trucks/containers with the WMS system, thereby enhancing strict quality control of goods and saving paperwork;
- Excellently meeting peak production levels at 250% of the average for both the Mekong Delta and Central markets;
- Parallel to these activities are "Green Logistics" initiatives - creating sustainable development values ​​for Suntory PepsiCo customers, for CJ Gemadept Logistics, and for society. Replacing diesel forklifts with 100% electric ones, resolutely eliminating old trucks by investing in a system of new vehicles with Euro 5 emission standards, pioneering digital operations with the goal of "paperless" - to minimize environmental waste, these are the prominent ESG practices of ours in 2023.
