In March 2017, Nam Hai Distribution Center Project (Nam Hai DC) was officially started construction by Gemadept Logistics with conjunction with other units in the Corporation including Nam Hai ICD, Gemadept Hai Phong and Gemadept Construction Infrastructure in Nam Hai ICD, Dinh Vu Industrial Zone, Hai Phong City.

The project is strategically located in the heart of the Northern key economic region, where the main transportation corridors of the whole Northern region converge, linking with Gemadept's port system and regional ports. In particular, customs declaration and inspection for import and export goods will be extremely convenient when the customs office is located in Nam Hai ICD.

Nam Hai DC Project is built on an area of 9,660 sqm, including full functional areas such as Bonded Warehouse, CFS Warehouse and Cross-docking Warehouse with the most modern standards in the region such as 6 racking levels, 5 dock levelers convenient for cargo delivery, floor loading capacity of 5 tons/sqm, Led lighting system help saving energy, natural ventilation system, fire protection system meeting high safety standard with 100% sprinklers and fire retardant paint, steel frame manufactured by Kirby – the world's leading supplier.... With the scale and modern equipment, Nam Hai DC can perfectly meet the need of logistics services, transportation and warehousing of local and international enterprises that have invested in Hai Phong as well as neighboring areas. The project is expected to complete in August this year.
