According to statistics, the trend of e-commerce in Vietnam is very strong development in recent years, the growth rate of 30-50% per year, exceeding the milestone of $ 4 billion by the end of 2015. Some researches forecast e-commerce growth in Vietnam to be 18 times between now and 2025. The growth potential of e-commerce will lead to the growth of the freight forwarding and supply chain.
Capturing that trend, in October 2016, Gemadept Logistics organized a training course for GLC staff and related departments on equipping with in-depth knowledge of e-logistics, preparing for its development strategy to expand services into this field. Professor Albert Tan, who has many years of experience in logistics, is teaching at the Malaysian Supply Chain Innovation Institute, taught more than 30 participants. With a deep understanding of both theory and practice together with a lively, attractive communication method and highly interactive between instructors and learners, the course was really effective and brought a lot of knowledge, useful skills for GLC’s participants.
